So much has happened since the last time I updated my blog.
But I'll stick to the present issues at hand, one of which is the upcoming presidential election.
Oh, how this race is shaping up.
You have the conservative right going against the liberal left. At least that's the way the media seems to be playing it up. I for one see it as much more than that. We live in dangerous times, is there really ever a safe time though?
The republican's are using the war against terrorism as their main reason for re-electing George W. Bush although the number of terrorist attacks has increased during his administration.
The public, for the most part, believes in this adminstration's policies even though many question as the validity of the reasons we were given for going to war in Iraq in the first place.
Hindsight is always 20/20.
I didn't support going to war in Iraq but have supported our troops from day one. Having to defend my support has sometimes been a tough issue since my patriotism has sometimes been questioned.
I am supporting Senator John Kerry's campaign for president as I believe his vision is more in line with mine. I've been a democrat all my life and I still believe in the democratic vision for America. I admit that some in the party have gone far too the left but I also feel that it helps to views things more openly.
I'll be writing much more later today and in the future.
