Well the big bad war in Iraq is over, alledgedly, and everything seems to be getting back to normal.
The 24 hour news channels are not full of war experts making predictions and using their funny little Iraq maps with the toy soldiers showing us where our troops are.
The roar over the Dixie Chicks has subsided and they kicked out their tour last night in South Carolina without a hitch. It appears that forgive and forget still runs rampant in the US....as it should.
Now the biq question that is on my mind is how will the US weather the storm that may come after the war?
With massive deficits staring us in the face, is now the time for big tax cuts? I don't think so.
But hey, I'm no economic major but it doesn't make sense to cut the money coming in when we are so far in the red.
But I'm praying for the best.

On the home front my beloved San Antonio Spurs have beaten the Phoenix Suns in the first round of the playoffs.
Now the defending World Champion Los Angeles Lakers stand in our way to another championship.
Well, let's get ready to rock!
I have all the confidence in the Spurs but I feel that game one is a very crucial game, one that I am calling a must win for the Spurs.
We cannot allow the Lakers to take a game here at home. Not against the defending champions. We must keep the upper hand at all costs.

Late.
